The Water Conservation and Water Supply Shortage Plan (“Plan”) articulates certain actions to be taken by LBWD in order to manage water supplies in shortage and non-shortage conditions. One of those actions is to prohibit certain uses of water under different water supply conditions.
Repeated violation of a prohibited use of water (PUoW) may result in the customer receiving a PUoW Charge. The Prohibited Use of Water Charge resolution describes the PUoW Charge and how it is calculated.
A PUoW Charge results from having received a Notice of Violation. If a customer receives a Notice of Violation, that notice may be appealed using the Request Hearing to Appeal NOV Form.
